Mrs. Donya Story has been the Registrar at Catalayah Elementary for 13 years. Reflecting on Caden’s school years, she shared, “Working at Catalayah while Caden was in Kindergarten through 5th grade was such a heartwarming experience for me as a mom. It was so special to see him grow and thrive, not just at home but at school too. I loved being able to sneak peeks of his day, watching him interact with his friends, and seeing his excitement when he learned something new. Being at the school with him allowed me to share in every little milestone, making those moments even more meaningful. It was a gift to be part of his school life that way.”
Donya and Caden both acknowledge the impact of their 3rd-grade teacher, Mrs. Geranen. She said, “She taught him that not everyone learns the same way and invested so much time into helping him grow.” A proud Zebra since Pre-K, Caden has attended Roosa, Catalayah, Will Rogers Junior High, and Claremore High School. I especially loved having him in my 5th-grade class—it was a joy to experience him as a student and witness his academic growth.
