🦓❤️🎓 COUNTDOWN TO GRADUATION — 16 Days brought to you by the Hensons!
Mrs. Tia Henson has been a paraprofessional and communications cadre at Claremont for two years. Reflecting on Logan’s school years, she shares, “I love cheering on our Zebras and hearing Logan play with the band. My favorite memory was homecoming this year and seeing Logan be a part of such a special event here in Claremore.”
Logan also expresses gratitude, saying, “Mr. TJ Smith has shown me that hard work matters and will pay off if you push through the trials. From All-State and District Band to everyday life, he has taught me that passion, effort, and attitude can make all the difference. Thank you, Mr. Smith, for investing in your students and helping make us better people.”
A Zebra since 5th grade, Logan attended Roosa Elementary, Will Rogers Junior High, and Claremore High School. He has been a proud member of the marching, concert, and jazz bands.
When asked what he will remember most about his experience at CPS, Logan shared, “Mr. Smith pushing me to become a better musician and ultimately an All-State musician.” One of his favorite memories with his mom was “going to All-State with my mom.”
It has been a fun and unforgettable 7 years for Logan as a proud Zebra!

🌪️ When Curiosity Sparks Creativity at Catalayah! 🌪️
At the Catalayah STEM Club, student-led learning took center stage! One student’s interest in tornadoes turned into a whirlwind of discovery for the whole group. 💡
We kicked things off with a National Geographic Kids video to explore tornadoes and the clouds that signal severe weather. Then, it was time to get hands-on...
🛠️ Tornado Shelter Design Challenge!
Students put their engineering hats on to design their own tornado shelters, asking important real-world questions like:
🏠 Should it be above ground or underground?
📍 Where’s the safest place to build it?
From weather science to critical thinking and problem-solving, our students were all in learning, designing, and having a blast along the way! 🚀
