From the lively streets of New Orleans to the sunny shores of Gulf Shores, and on to the rocket city of Huntsville, recent CHS graduate Charli Williams, 4th grader Rori Williams, and 5th grader Serenity Widener made the most of their summer road trip! 🚗☀️
One of the coolest highlights? Spotting Claremore’s own Stuart Roosa, a CHS alum and Apollo 14 astronaut, at the Pensacola Naval Aviation Museum! 🌙📸
No matter where you go, Zebra pride (and legacy) is never far behind.

The Ratcliff family, Ella (CHS Senior), Rivers (WRJH 7th), Andrea (Catalayah Art Teacher) & Dr. Chris Ratcliff (RSU Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics), recently visited Costa Rica.
They were able to hike in a real rainforest, seeing lots of tropical animals, including being inches away from a baby sloth (OMG, Mrs. Ratcliff was dying of cuteness-literally happy tears), and 3 out of 4 of the family tried eating termites for “protein”…the one who teaches art gave a hard pass.
They also got their first experience snorkeling. They swam & touched the shells of huge, wild sea turtles, caught a yellowfin tuna, and earned a few sunburns as souvenirs. (Sunscreen, Zebras. Don’t forget it!) ☀️🐠
Got your own summer adventure? Send photos in your Zebra gear to jbrace@claremore.k12.ok.us and be part of our #ZebraTravelDiaries series!

Students stepped into the shoes of convenience store employees, rotating through four hands-on stations to solve real-world math problems—applying what they've learned in a fun and practical way!
Each student left with a QT pencil, a coupon for a free fountain drink, and a better understanding of how math shows up in everyday life.

🏀 NEXT LEVEL ZEBRA: Brady Priess, CHS Class of 2019
From the courts of Claremore High to the sidelines of Division I basketball, Brady Priess is making serious moves. Recently promoted to Assistant Director of Scouting for Oklahoma State Men’s Basketball, Brady is stepping into a key role on the Cowboys’ coaching staff, and doing it with the same grit and passion he’s shown since day one.
His new position will have him right in the middle of the action, evaluating talent from the transfer portal to international prospects, managing internal databases and scouting partnerships, assisting with opponent prep, and helping coordinate official visits. He’ll also contribute to practice planning and film breakdowns, bringing his signature eye for detail to every play.
OSU Head Coach Steve Lutz had nothing but praise, according to 247Sports Feature: “Brady is a Loyal and True Cowboy who has earned this opportunity through outstanding work and unwavering dependability. He’s got a great eye for detail and a real passion for the game. No question he’s one of the rising stars in this profession.”
👏 From student manager to full-time staff, Brady’s climb is a testament to what happens when hard work meets opportunity and Zebra Pride never leaves your playbook.

🏫 Four weeks from today, we will welcome all our students back into our halls! Although we are enjoying the opportunity to recharge, we have not stopped preparing. In the spirit of planning, we have created a BACK-TO-SCHOOL page on our website where you can find "all the things" in one place. We still need to work out a few details, but we will update the webpage weekly as those decisions are made. Additionally, if you have not completed your 25-26 enrollment registration (required for both new and returning students), please do so as soon as possible. We want plenty of time to prepare for all our students! 👀 From Athletic passes to Zebra Stripes, find out what we know at this time - https://www.claremore.k12.ok.us/page/back-to-school

Ms. Pilant’s students showed off their artistic talents by sculpting these adorable octopi out of clay and pipe cleaners in Mr. McClurg’s class. We love seeing our future artists dive into hands-on projects that spark imagination and creativity!
