He’s enjoyed the cool weather and has done a lot of swimming, fishing, hiking, and picking fruits and berries in the woods. 2023 CHS Alumni Josiah Jacobs traveled to Dublin, London, and Paris with EF tours. Some of the highlights of his trip were getting to see the Elizabeth Tower (Big Ben), the London Bridge, the Eiffel Tower, and the Louvre Museum! We have a family Zebra dazzle for this #ZebraTravelDiareis entry! Mrs. Nicole Griffin (paraprofessional), along with her children, Ethan (4th grade) and Madelyn (1st grade) represent Catalayah Elementary in this Zebra travel diaries! They took a weekend-long trip to Alabama to see family and friends. On the way down, they stopped at the Bass Pro at the Pyramid in Memphis, which is the largest Bass Pro in the world! Once arriving in Alabama, the trio spent lots of time with grandparents, cousins, and friends. Mrs. Griffin took her Zebra Pride to her Alma Mater. The Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corp was in town practicing for a competition taking place in nearby Birmingham, and they put on quite the show in the small town of Gordo, Alabama, where Mrs. Griffin graduated high school. They also visited Lake Lurleen State Park, for boating and swimming. Plus, Mrs. Griffin got to see something she hadn't before.
