It just feels good to be home again! Once a ZEBRA, always a ZEBRA!! I love how Claremore Public Schools implements the 8 Great Expectations for living for our students. This teaches them character-building words such as respect and honesty and also to be creative and responsible within their society. 💭What is one of your favorite memories from being a CPS student? My favorite memories of being a CPS student were my cheerleading years. I enjoyed attending the games and seeing the community come together to cheer on the football team! 👩🏻‍🏫Who was your favorite teacher? My favorite teacher was Mr. Adams for Algebra. 📣What was your favorite extracurricular? I was a Claremore Varsity Cheerleader and played soccer for the high school team. #cpszebrapride

Zebra Stripes Summer Camp The Zebra Stripes Summer Day Care Program is held during summer. Our program focuses on providing exceptional care for kindergarten through fifth grade. (Pre-K enrolment is accepted on a case-by-case basis.) The program will offer age-appropriate activities to provide the children with social, emotional, and physical development. I've loved the opportunity to work alongside this incredible staff, many of which taught me. I love getting to work with raising the next generation for Claremore! I love how our school is the heartbeat of our community! 💭What is one of your favorite memories from being a CPS student? Being involved! Technology Student Association, Math Club, National Honor Society and more! 👩🏻‍🏫Who was your favorite Teacher? I enjoyed so many! All of my science and math classes were outstanding! Mrs. Garroutte and Mrs. Rader profoundly impacted me as a student. 📣What was your favorite extracurricular? I was the president of the Technology Student Association and Math Club. ⭐What was trending when you graduated? Clothes, songs, movies, etc. I wore pretty much what I wear now. I love the environment in which I get to teach every day. Future Friday🏫🎓 ＄2 , 4 5 5 , 4 1 0 That is the amount of scholarships the Class of 2024 reported receiving this year. The Smith Family Scholarship is for students pursuing post-secondary education in engineering or music. For their freshman year, students will receive $5,000 per semester, for a total of $10,000. This is a $50,000 investment in our graduates' futures. Recipients pictured: Gracie Roberts, Mason Pixley, Mason Erstad, Elizabeth Reedy, and Zachary Hinds. I love that CPS is so united. When one of our schools, staff members, or students succeed, we all celebrate it as our own because we are one. The opportunity to serve our youth of the Claremore community gives me the greatest joy. 💭What is one of your favorite memories from being a CPS student? My sister, Shaye Rowlett, was a senior the year I was a freshman. We locked down the middle infield positions and played side by side for the Lady Zebra softball team. That year was particularly special because of that, but the fun, success, and lifelong friendships from those four years of competing as a team gave me some of my greatest memories. 👩🏻‍🏫Who was your favorite Teacher? Cindy Hammack is an incredible math teacher! She makes understanding difficult math skills an easy task. 📣What was your favorite extracurricular? Playing softball during my junior and senior years, our team won back-to-back state championships. ⭐What was trending when you graduated? Clothes, songs, movies, etc. The artist Jay Z was becoming popular. #cpszebrapride

I absolutely love the environment of growth that's continued to expand while I've been gone. 🚨 Blood Drive Success! 🚨 The Claremore Navy JROTC hosted four incredible blood drives throughout the last school year, culminating in the Estabrook Memorial Blood Drive. Our combined efforts from the school and community resulted in 322 blood donations, saving an astounding 966 lives! 🩸❤️ A huge thank you to Our Blood Institute (OBI) for partnering with Claremore High School and facilitating these drives. Their support has been invaluable. A special shoutout to Red Crown Credit Union for their generous support! They challenged our team to meet our donation goal, and upon achieving it, they donated $1,000 to our NJROTC program to further STEM education. Jeremy Daggs from Red Crown Credit Union presented the donation to our cadets in front of the local Red Crown Credit Union - Claremore Branch. Thank you to everyone who donated and supported our blood drives. Together, we are making a difference! 🌟🦓💪🏽❤ #cpszebrapride
