🦓❤🎓COUNTDOWN TO GRADUATION - 11 Days brought to you by the Britos!
Mrs. Tiffani Brito is an instructional assistant at Westside Elementary, where she has been for 8 years. She appreciates the opportunities Claremore offers that have allowed her to “watch Kalin grow and excel in the engineering program at CHS. She has really been able to find something that she enjoys and wants to make a career out of. Through this program, she has met so many incredible people from all over. It has also helped improve her public speaking and leadership skills, which will help her in the future. This year, she became the president of SkillsUSA. They competed and won the State competition and are now hoping for a win at Nationals for the 3rd year in a row! All of her confidence and knowledge helped her gain early acceptance into OSU's Engineering Program.” She credits many notable teachers in our schools: “It’s so hard to narrow down the most impactful between Mrs. Andrews, Mrs. Steidley, and Mrs. Hammack. I would have to say Mrs. Hammack though, because she has always been so encouraging and helpful to Kalin in and out of the classroom. She always made sure that Kalin had a chance to experience every possibility available to her. She has helped Kalin see her full potential and reinforce what her Dad and I have always tried to tell her. We are so thankful that Mrs. Hammack is at CHS to help inspire others in the future, and are forever grateful for what she has done for our daughter!”
Kalin Brito hit the ground running as a kindergartener at Westside Elementary, later continuing to WRJH and CHS. In a short 11 days, she will be graduating on the same stage as her dad did in 2004. Kalin is not only on the Lady’s Basketball team, but an active member of the Astronomy Club, the Math Club, the Chemistry Club, SAGA, NTC, SkillsUSA, Young Democrats, and has taken challenging AP and concurrent courses. What she will remember most from her time at CPS will be her “experience in the Engineering program with my advisors, Mrs.Steidley and Ms.Hammack.” Her fondest memories with her mom stem from when she “had the same lunch as us in junior high. She would order food for my friends and I, and we would all hang out.” Kalin's influence and role within our Zebra Family will be remembered for years!

🦓❤🎓COUNTDOWN TO GRADUATION - 12 Days brought to you by the Isenbarts!
Mr. David Isenbart is one of Claremore High School’s STEM instructors. His position allows him to teach junior high students, high schoolers, and our award-winning robotics team. He has been a staff member at CPS for 23 years. A fond memory he has of Adam’s time at school was “when Adam was on the National winning TSA Chapter Team in 8th grade.” He credits Mrs. Brooke Lee for the significant difference she made in Adam’s education: “Her instructional style was the perfect fit for Adam, allowing him to thrive in a subject that he otherwise would not have enjoyed.”
Adam has been a Zebra since Pre-K. He has attended Roosa, Catalayah, and CHS and is an athlete for the Claremore Zebras. 🦓❤🎓COUNTDOWN TO GRADUATION - 13 Days brought to you by the Silversmiths!
Ms. Sandy Silversmith is a paraprofessional at Catalayah Elementary and has been a staff member at CPS for 5 years. She graduated from Claremore High School's Class of 1990. One of her favorite moments from Mia’s time as a Zebra was when “Mia was chosen to be a part of homecoming. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we both treasured.” She appreciates Mr. Greenland’s role in her education: “Mr. Greenland was Mia’s ZAP Advisor and her teacher for two classes. He really got to know her and pushed her to be her best.”
Mia began her Zebra career in Pre-K at Claremont, from there, she went on to WRJH and CHS. At the high school, she was an active member of the SADD club and the Native American Student Association. She is also a star player on the Lady Zebras Soccer team - which she reflects on as one of her best experiences as a Zebra. Her favorite moment with her mom at school was “my mom being a substitute teacher for my class.” She is thankful for her time at CPS and countless memories as a Zebra!

🦓🎓❤COUNTDOWN TO GRADUATION - 14 Days brought to you by the Scotts!
Ms. Meredith Scott is a special education paraprofessional at Claremont Elementary and has been a staff member at CPS for 3 years. She graduated from Claremore High School Class of 2000. Her favorite part of Kennedi’s time at school “was watching her overall growth while she was attending CHS.” She acknowledges Mr. Castillo for the significant difference he made in Kennedi’s education: “By being an amazing role model for all the kids at CHS, he is very understanding and easy for her to communicate with.”
A Zebra since freshman year, Kennedi has attended and made an impact on CHS. Her fondest memories are traced back to all the school-hosted functions: “By attending the school events (football games, prom, etc.), I felt more involved and was able to form lasting positive experiences.” Her favorite memory with her mom at the high school was “always having her help getting ready for school events and hearing about her past experiences at CHS, where she did the same things I am doing.”

🦓❤🎓COUNTDOWN TO GRADUATION - 15 Days brought to you by Laura and Jeremiah!
Ms. Laura Sargent joined the Zebra family this year as a paraprofessional at Catalayah Elementary. Though her time as a Zebra has been short, it's been full of many special moments. She is grateful for the opportunities available to Jeremiah, allowing him to fulfill his passion: “His time in the high school band has allowed him to be involved in the community by performing at events like Dickens on the Boulevard. He has participated in various band-related events over the last two years, which has allowed him to make many memories!” In the two years Jeremiah has been a Zebra, he has formed lasting connections with his teachers. Specifically, “Mr. Mudd and Mrs. Acord have both made a significant difference in my child's education and time here at Claremore Public Schools. If not for these amazing band teachers, Jeremiah would not have had the opportunity to experience all that he has.”
Jeremiah began CHS in his junior year. He is a phenomenal musician for the concert, jazz, and marching bands - always repping his Zebra Pride. His special memories from his time at school stem from his activities with the band on their trip to Florida. Similarly, a precious moment he has with his mom is when they spent time together during the Band’s Senior Night. It's been a short but memorable time for Jeremiah as part of our Zebra Dazzle.
