Westside teachers Ms. Frost and Mrs. Durham are part of a select group of Oklahoma teachers teaming up with the Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance to pilot a high-quality science curriculum formulated to target how students learn best. This national effort of open science resources will ignite students' excitement and curiosity about science in their classrooms! 🦓🧪❤ We are so excited and proud of the initiative our Westside staff has taken to help prepare our students for a STEM-enabled future! Former Westside and CPS STEM teacher extraordinaire Mrs. Rahn was there to help guide our teachers through this new program; after all - Once a Zebra, Always a Zebra! ❤🦓🧪 #cpszebrapride

Claremore Public Schools wants to partner with parents and guardians to accomplish our District goals for ALL students: to raise student achievement, close the achievement gap, provide educational equity, and ensure a safe educational environment.  One way we do this is through parent-teacher conferences. Although you can request a conference at any time, the district schedules four evening dates each year for conferences.  Sept. 26th is the first opportunity for our Claremore High School conferences. MARK YOUR CALENDARS with all the dates for the 24-25 school year: https://www.claremore.k12.ok.us/article/974478

Reading is a lot of fun and can take us to new and exciting places! But how do we know what genres we will like? 📚🍽 Recently at Claremont Elementary, our 4th graders set out to discover their favorite genres by hosting a Book Tasting. Students had the opportunity to 'sample' different book genres to help them find new interests and encourage a love for reading. Once they had a taste of all the books, students reviewed them based on their first impressions!❤🍽🦓📚 #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
