Mrs. Rahe's first-grade class at Claremont Elementary School is enthusiastically exploring the world of shapes! The students are having a great time learning about different shapes through hands-on activities. They have been given the task of building new shapes, which is helping them to develop their creativity and problem-solving skills. Junior high students in Mrs. Newbury's classes have spent the last few weeks learning about genetics and how different traits get passed from one generation to another. 🧬🔎 To show mastery, students had to combine chromosomal traits and decode what their "spud buddy" would look like. 🥔 Hands-on projects like these make learning more effective and help students build a strong foundation in scientific concepts. At Will Rogers Junior High, Mrs. Rahn’s STEM students ventured into spying & espionage, studying cyber security!🔎 Students learned Morse code and built a circuit device to send messages across the room to one another. They also built an enigma machine to code and decode messages. Professions in Cyber Security are in very high demand and students learned about the many career areas in this field!📚🔎💻 #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
