Wishing you a joyful holiday, Happy Thanksgiving!🦃❤️

🍂🦃 Thanksgiving at CPS 🦃🍂
This year, our Thanksgiving meal was more than just a feast—it was a celebration of connection and community! Over 2,300 meals were shared between our students and their guests. It was heartwarming to see everyone come together, from moms and dads to aunts, uncles, or grandparents, and even our amazing high school students and athletes who joined our elementary students at our Thanksgiving tables. 💛
Special moments filled the day as older siblings joined their younger ones, athletes cheered on elementary students, and hugs of gratitude were exchanged everywhere.
"Thanksgiving is about gathering, gratitude, and the hugs that remind us we're loved." 🧡

🦃 Thankful for Family Partnerships 🦃
This Thanksgiving, we are reminded of how vital our partnership with families is to our students' success.
When families are engaged, students thrive. Whether family members share a laugh over lunch, volunteer with our PTOs, or relatives take turns reading at night, these moments build the foundation for success. Together, we create a community where every student feels supported and inspired.
"Family is the heart of education, and Thanksgiving reminds us to cherish every moment." 🧡

Mr. Wadsworth’s students absolutely rocked their culture projects! 🏆📚 Each student explored a culture of their choice, diving deep into:
🗣️ Language & Communication
🍴 Cuisine & Food Traditions
🎉 Festivals & Holidays
🎶 Music & Dance
👗 Traditional Clothing
🌍 Geography’s Influence on Culture (like land, climate, and resources)
Their hard work and creativity shone through as they brought these cultures to life! 🌟👏 Way to go, Zebras! 🦓💡 #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Take the family photo. You can take it in the living room on the couch or go outside. It doesn't have to be perfect, even if you weigh more than you like, your outfits aren't coordinated, or your kids have food on their clothes.
Take the photos because time is a thief. It snatches memories away without warning, and years from now, you will cherish the photo of everyone who was present.
Just take the photos and share one with us in our FB comments.

Our Claremore High School juniors recently visited Northeastern State University, exploring academic programs, touring facilities, and experiencing campus life. The visit inspired students as they begin planning their collegiate futures. #CPSZebraPride

Ms. Golbek's Environmental Science class brought learning to life with a creative, hands-on project! 🍂
Students explored the campus, collecting fallen leaves to study their structure and identify species. After diving into lessons on plants, water cycles, and seasonal changes, they took it a step further—transforming their knowledge into wearable art! They created unique clothing pieces using leaf impressions, combining science with sustainability. This innovative project not only deepened their understanding of ecology but also showcased the beauty of nature in everyday life. 🌟 #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Roosa Elementary 3rd Grade classes brought the tradition of Corn
Husk Dolls to life by creating their own, blending creativity with cultural learning.❤🌾
The Native American legend of the corn husk doll tells of the Creator shaping the beauty of the Earth, including the plants, animals, and the Three Sisters—the sustainers of life: corn, squash, and beans. Among them, the Corn Husk was revered, and Native Americans crafted faceless corn husk dolls as a reminder to remain humble and never think oneself superior to others. Way to go, Zebras!🦓❤ #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
