Claremore High School offers many Career Tech programs and has approximately 250 students involved, between CHS Agricultural education, family and consumer sciences, and cooperative programs at Northeast Technology. These programs provide students with outlets and opportunities to explore their passions and prepare for their futures.
Among the many individuals preparing for life after graduation is Alexis Keesler, a CHS student pursuing a career in education. Alexis shares her journey toward a career in filmmaking and media.
She shared that her time at EAST has been a pivotal journey focused on hands-on learning. Motivated by her love for filmmaking, she joined to explore videography within a school environment. Beyond technical skills, EAST helped her overcome social challenges, enhancing her communication abilities. It provided vital workforce skills like organization and networking alongside a sense of civic responsibility through community projects. As she prepares for life post-high school, she is thankful for her comprehensive understanding of video production and editing, along with her certification in Premiere Pro. She shared with potential EAST students that it's not just a STEM class but a dynamic environment where you tackle real-world challenges. Embracing this opportunity has given Alexis the tools and resources to set her on a path of success. 🎥📚🦓 #cpszebrapride

In the spirit of February, our Claremont Pre-K students took a heartwarming journey of appreciation! Each student went around, spreading smiles and love by sharing what they like about their classmates. From giggles that light up the room to kindness that knows no bounds, our tiny hearts overflowed with affection. It's moments like these that remind us that kindness goes a long way.🦓💕 #cpszebrapride

The CHS band played to a full house at the Chamber of Commerce State of the City meeting last week. Although the City Manager, John Feary, gave a solid annual update on the City of Claremore - we know they come for the band.
