Our Claremore Baseball Team shows up for their players. on and off the field. Amid local devastation, these athletes & coaches showed what it means to be a Zebra and show up for your Zebra family. Tyler Osgood and Colin Mummert shared that "It helps make the tragedy less overwhelming for them". Ms. Sweet's students got a taste of summer by transforming their classroom into a campground! They received their very own pillowcases, pencils, and flashlights, and they did their work in their desk-turned-tents! ✨🔦 🔥🏕️ Comment your favorite place to go camping! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Claremore High School students finished their semester-long biology lesson at the Rogers State Nature Reserve. Through lessons on ecosystems, habitat requirements, animal adaptations, and the use of dichotomous keys to help identify different species, they finished evaluating the health of a pond at RSU. 🎣🔬🦓 They had previously looked at the pond's dissolved oxygen, pH, turbidity, and temperature to guess what could live in such conditions. During their lesson they found out, getting in the water and finding the different populations that live there. To conclude their hypothesis, the pond is an excellent place for wildlife of all different kinds. 🎣🔬🦓 #cpszsebrapride

COMMUNITY❤ Claremore FFA students, parents, alumni, other organizational group members, and the community of Claremore showed up. This group of individuals truly brought the "service before self" attitude and gave back selflessly. For most, this was the first time seeing extensive tornado damage up close & personal. This was also the first time for many of them to encounter pure generosity & appreciation from others. People crying, people hugging and so many people who were truly thankful for what they could do for their community.❤ Advisor, Mr. Boyer reminded team members, that this is a marathon, not a sprint. The community of Claremore will be dealing with the aftermath of this situation for weeks & months to come, not just days. Way to go Zebras, showing that #cpszebrapride in action! This is what it is all about.❤🦓

At Westside Elementary, Mrs. Stone’s 3rd graders are DIGGING into science. These young paleontologists are practicing digging up dinosaur bones 🦕🦴(chocolate chips) from the ground (the cookie 🍪). The students drew out their specimen ✏️, then used their tools (toothpicks & toothbrushes) to carefully extract the “bones.” What a fun & yummy way to learn all about paleontology, bone extraction & science! Keep it up 3rd-grade science stars!🤩 #cpszebrapride
