Today our Claremore High School Zebra Marching Band will be the only Oklahoma band attending a competition in Missouri.
They will perform this year’s show, SHATTERED!
Show them your talent and your #CPSZEBRAPRIDE!

Catalayah students got to experience a special story and piece of history. They may not have been alive when it happened, but it will now be something they will never forget.❤⛑
Ms. Butcher's father worked the clean-up for 9/11 as a chaplain 22 years ago. He drove by car to New York to provide aid and support, and he stayed on sight for 3 weeks. Residue from the tragic event still remains around the rim of the helmet. There were many signatures that students noticed were from pilots, policemen, firefighters, and other chaplains.
Being a hero is about selflessness, serving, and protecting. Students discussed ways they use these characteristics to be heroes in their everyday lives. What a memorable lesson and a thank you to Ms. Butcher, teacher at Catalayah, for sharing this with our students.❤🦓

Color Us Impressed! 🎨🦑🌈
Science & art, yes please! These elementary students are having a 'squid-tastic' time diving into the world of primary colors! At Westside, Mrs. Sweet’s class is studying primary colors & squids in Art with Mr. McClurg. ❤️🦑💛🦑💙
They watched a video learning about these interesting sea creatures & then using primary colored paint to create their own squid artwork! 🎨🔬🦑 💪🏽🦓

🤧How Sick Is Too Sick For School?
Tis the season in Oklahoma - sniffling, sneezing, coughing, headache, fever, tummy aches, nausea, etc.
We miss our students when absent, but sometimes they need to recover at home; how do you make that decision? CPS encourages following the Oklahoma State Department of Health guidelines. These guidelines will help the child recover and protect against the spread of illnesses to other students and staff.
Remember, students/staff should only return to school once they have been fever-free, vomiting, or diarrhea-free for 24 hours without medication. If you have questions, contact the school nurse at your child's school of record.
Catalayah -Shae Vickery
Claremont -Kayla Burke
Roosa -Brianna Swicegood
Claremore High School - Kim Teague
Westside - Rhiannon "Rhi" Rains
Will Rogers Junior High -Stephanie Teston
