In science class, students made a 3-D model showing the different layers of the Earth. 🌎It might seem like Earth is one solid rock, but it actually has an inner core, outer core, mantle and crust.

Claremont students had such an amazing time at the RSU game! This has become a yearly tradition that everyone looks forward to! From the games, to the prizes, to the pizza - fun was had by all! GO HILLCATS!! 🐾🏀

Messy classrooms are where the ✨magic✨ happens!! Mrs. Melton had students practice their spelling words by writing them in shaving cream! Such a fun way to help students memorize.

Mrs. Hulse's class proved that even studying can be fun! These students played Kahoot games to review for their upcoming tests and had a blast!

Students practiced their spelling words with a colorful "Roll and Write" activity! They rolled the die and wrote the spelling word to match the color of the die. A creative and fun way to make a work of art while learning spelling words! 🎨

Mrs. Newman’s class took some time to share what they did during the holiday break!! After their turn to share they passed the yarn... they couldn’t let go because it takes all of them to work together as a team. 🧶🤝

Students got a workout in PE class using pool noodles and a big rubber ball to play soccer! The players had to hit the ball with the noodle to try to get it into the goal.

This class received a very special visit! Patsy's sent over the hot chocolate jeep to deliver each student and the teacher a hot chocolate with ALL the fixings! 😍Huge thanks to the parents who helped make this fun surprise happen.

📕Once upon a time, 2nd Grade students danced the morning away for their 1st Fairy Tale Ball!
🧚♀️Students learned the different elements of a Fairy Tale and then learned different dances, a song and a poem to perform for their parents.
💃The ball ended by students asking their parents to join them on the dance floor for the final dance... and they lived ✨happily ever after✨

Mrs. Mann’s 2nd grade class has GREAT news!! They are a class of officially published authors!!! Their books came in and they look incredible! 📗

Cadet Ensign Ryan Carroll, a sophomore at CHS, successfully passed his Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 107 (remote pilot) certification!!
🏅In doing so, he earned the NJROTC Wings of Gold during a ceremony held at the High School's Maker Space! Cadet Carroll is the first cadet to successfully pass the test and earn Gold Wings.
✈This credential will earn him the right to fly commercially (for hire) and will be issued a US Government FAA identification card. This process is part of the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission FY2023 Aerospace and Aviation Education Grant to Claremore NJROTC. Cadet Carroll has earned the FAA Part 107 credential BEFORE his driver license! 🤯

It's NERF or NOTHIN!
The Roosa staff had a NERF war between grade levels. Laughter and cheers were heard as the staff showed their best moves! 🐱👤 In the end, the 5th grade team won!

This is Specialist Ward with the Oklahoma National Guard and his daughter from Mrs. Bradfield’s class. Specialist Ward talked with Mrs. Bradfield's class about his important job as a mechanic and showed them pictures of him working on the Blackhawk helicopter. He answered many questions from students and they were so excited to meet him and learn about his job!!
