Calling all graduates of...THE EIGHTIES!⭐
It's time to reminisce about the days when Madonna was the queen of pop, shoulder pads were a fashion must, and homecoming was the event of the year!🎵👗🏈
🎶Drop your favorite 80s high school memory (G-rated😉) and tag your bestie in the comments!
Whether you were a football jock under those Friday night lights or a band kid adding rhythm to the halftime show, the 80s at CHS united all in unforgettable ways! Not to mention the statement-making fashion... from acid-washed jeans to mullets and big permed hair, you owned it all!💇🏼♀️👖✨

Catalayah students got to experience a special story and piece of history. They may not have been alive when it happened, but it will now be something they will never forget.❤⛑
Ms. Butcher's father worked the clean-up for 9/11 as a chaplain 22 years ago. He drove by car to New York to provide aid and support, and he stayed on sight for 3 weeks. Residue from the tragic event still remains around the rim of the helmet. There were many signatures that students noticed were from pilots, policemen, firefighters, and other chaplains.
Being a hero is about selflessness, serving, and protecting. Students discussed ways they use these characteristics to be heroes in their everyday lives. What a memorable lesson and a thank you to Ms. Butcher, teacher at Catalayah, for sharing this with our students.❤🦓
