📚🍎🦓💯Claremore High School students ACE the ACT! At some point in a High School student's career, they have to take the dreaded ACT. This timed standardized test is a significant factor for College Admissions, scholarships, and more. It is comprised of four different subjects, Math, Science, Reading, and English, and is compiled to create a perfect score of 36. This is a very challenging test, and Junior - Drew Mason has accumulated a super score of 36 based on the ACT tests he has taken throughout his High School career! Sophomore Campbell Crum has had success of his own on this challenging test. While only 0.925% of test takers score a 35, that now includes Campbell Crum who received this impressive score on his first opportunity to take the ACT. This is an incredible achievement for these two students, and Claremore Public Schools is very proud! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE #Claremorehighschool #ACTTest

Will Rogers Junior High STEM class recently hosted a successful Arcade Night for parents! 🎉 Our students had an amazing time showcasing their coding skills and demonstrating the arcade games they created. Parents had a chance to play some of the games, including "Whack-A-Mole," " Operation," and " Guitar Hero " - all designed and developed by our talented students. We are proud of what they have accomplished and their dedication to learning valuable skills in coding, problem-solving, and teamwork. Mrs. Rahn's students coded the games using Scratch coding then, they used a circuit board called Makey~Makey and connective tape to connect their coding to their favorite invention material "CARDBOARD"! These students were true inventors! We also appreciated the positive parent engagement during the event. We believe that parental involvement is critical to student success, and this event was a great opportunity for parents to see firsthand what their children have been learning in class. We are looking forward to future events like this that showcase our students' skills and bring our school community together. Stay tuned for more exciting STEM events in the future! 🔬 #CPSZEBRAPRIDE #STEM #STEMCLUB
