Ms. Myers class work together on a teambuilding activity. The objective: using only paperclips, get "tom" into a life vest and back into the boat. This was a great STEM activity to get students thinking outside of the box and about how they can work together to achieve their goal. #CSPZEBRAPRIDE

I plan to get a degree in technical theatre and own and operate my own theatre company. Favorite part of being a Zebra? I love working on the school plays and musicals, the theatre department helped me find what I truly have a passion for and what I want to do for the rest of my life. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Mr. McClurg is doing amazing things in art this year. Here 5th grade artists work on a school wide project. Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade will create a leaf that will be added to the giant tree in the hallway! The final product will be posted upon completion. Way to go, Westside artists! CPS celebrates I.T. Professionals day to recognize the technical experts — network engineers, system administrators, database admins, ethical hackers, and many more types of I.T. professionals — that make sure our computer systems run smoothly. It takes a solid set of skills and talents to fill the shoes of an I.T. pro so, today, we say thanks to the people who come to fix our devices when they stop working the way they should — the behind-the-scenes operators.
