Sadie McSpadden Representing: Native American Student Association (NASA) Other student activities involved in: Student Council, National Honor Society, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD club), and the public relations officer for Christian Club. What are your future plans? After graduating high school, I plan to attend John Brown University to study Psychology and hopefully become a counselor one day. Favorite part of being a Zebra? My favorite part of being a Zebra is the opportunities given to each of us. Whether it's a part of a club, sport, extracurricular activity, tech, or concurrent classes, there are many opportunities for every student to be involved, gain work or school experience, and enjoy their years as a Zebra. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Jack Staton Representing: Improv Other student activities involved: Dead poets, Theater Production, and Advanced Drama. What are your future plans? Go to college in Missouri and help build, run, and participate in a theater company with my friend and partner. Favorite part of being a Zebra? The fact that I have the opportunity to make and build my own career. It's a privilege! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

CPS celebrates I.T. Professionals day to recognize the technical experts — network engineers, system administrators, database admins, ethical hackers, and many more types of I.T. professionals — that make sure our computer systems run smoothly. It takes a solid set of skills and talents to fill the shoes of an I.T. pro so, today, we say thanks to the people who come to fix our devices when they stop working the way they should — the behind-the-scenes operators. Thanks to our District team who like to remain behind the screen: Bryan, Dustin, Cheri, Trent, Tom, and Josh. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Do you remember loosing a tooth a school? In elementary school losing teeth is a right of passage. This year, Westsiders are keeping the Tooth Fairy very busy! These two second grade classmates lost a tooth within 10 minutes of one another! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Who can build the tallest tower? 5th grade students used critical thinking and worked together to build a tower out of cups during their gym lessons! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Have you ever wondered why giraffes 🦒 have long necks? 1st graders thought about it and wrote their thoughts in their journals. They made sure to put a finger space between each word. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Kenedy Roach Representing: National Honor Society Other student activities involved: STUCO, World Language Club, SADD Club, Math Club, Chemistry Club, Biomedical Club, Softball What are your future plans? Attend the University of the Ozarks or Oral Roberts University and study Biology/ Pre-med and go into Medical School. Favorite part of being a Zebra? Spending my high school career with the most welcoming community and supportive Zebra family. As well as getting to participate and represent our school in the best way possible. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Reagan Jauquet Representing: Cheer Other student activities involved in: StuCo, National Honor Society, FUZE, Christian Club, SADD, Math Club, and Chemistry Club. What are your future plans? Going to college and majoring in business. Favorite part of being a Zebra? My favorite part of being a Zebra is the wonderful community I’m a part of. The Zebra community has shown me unconditional support and encouragement. I have gained amazing friends and have been taught by phenomenal teachers over these 12 years. I will cherish being a Zebra forever! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

What are your future plans? I plan on going to college and being a dental hygienist. Favorite part of being a Zebra? My favorite thing about being a Zebra is all the friendships I have gained from my involvement in various clubs and being involved in my school and community. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

My future plans include attending RSU and majoring in allied health sciences to soon be a physical therapist. Favorite part of being a Zebra? My favorite parts about being a Zebra would be the community, school spirit, my friends, my family, and all of the support from my teams and my teachers. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

While I am certain that I want to go to university, I am not sure where I want to go or what degree I want to pursue. Favorite part of being a Zebra? My favorite part about being a Zebra are the opportunities given, as well as the supportive staff and community.

I plan on furthering my education and acquiring my ministry degree to become a Youth Pastor. As well as applying to compete on American Ninja Warrior. Favorite part of being a Zebra? I to pursue a degree in environmental engineering. Favorite part of being a Zebra? The community! The teachers and staff are amazing and always willing to lend a helping hand. The student body feels like a family and I love the support we provide for each other. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

📚Books! Books! Books! 📚 So many books in the library! The library is a place where students can choose books from different genres. Learning about places far and near can be found by turning the pages of a book! 1st graders stopped by the library to choose their favorite library book. Reading is a great way to ignite creativity and sparks curiosity! Set a good example and read a book to your child. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

After reading "Clark the Shark", Ms. Brown's second grade students had a very cool surprise. Cameron University student teacher Lindsey Guercio, helped extend their learning while talking about sharks. Ms. Guercio brought the skeleton of a juvenile bull shark. Students loved seeing all the teeth! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Bailey Irene Jones Representing: FCCLA Other student activities involved in: Christian Club What are your future plans? I would like to attend RSU and pursue a degree plan to be a therapist. I would also like to minor in art. Favorite part of being a Zebra? My favorite part about being a Zebra is how welcoming everyone is. I love how our teachers help us with any problem and how we can talk to them about anything. They will help you exceed your goals in the end. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
