Our #CPSZEBRAPRIDE is getting a lot of exposure in Europe this summer. Mrs. Hernandez escorted some students to Germany this summer for an educational tour. Jamie Hernandez, Bryce Rhoades, Robert McDaniel, Sam Marsh, and Eile Bratt are in Heidelberg, Germany, for today's #ZebraTravelDiaries. CPS teachers took part in the OK Donors Choose Grant process earlier this year. Thirty-four teachers at CPS received funding for their proposals, equaling almost $34K in grants. Ruiel Doonkeen, Claremore High School / Digital Music and Technology teacher, received funding for an AKAI MPC ONE Music Production Console to allow the students to create music on a standalone instrument. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

＄２，８７１，８２５．４０ That is the amount of scholarship money the Class of 2022 reported receiving this year. Over the next few weeks, we will celebrate those who received scholarships from our CPS partners who have invested in the future of our students. Wade Brasfield received the $500 Pafford Medical Services Scholarship. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Claremore Public Schools has 54 teachers and support staff attend the Great Expectations training in the CHS Innovation Center this summer. Approximately 80% of all CPS instructional staff members have completed one or more of the GE training levels. All 4 elementary schools and the junior high are 22-23 GE Model Schools. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Kenyon and Draven are Roosa students and traveled to Pensacola, FL, for our #ZebraTravelDiaries. Although it rained most of the time, they loved the beach and still had a blast. The Salcidos are "monkeying around" in Punta Cana in their #CPSZEBRAPRIDE in today's #ZebraTravelDiaries. Kaden will be a freshman and plays tennis; Kyla just graduated and is heading to Coffeyville on a volleyball scholarship at the end of July. Mrs. Salcido just finished her 5th year at Catalayah and although she's enjoying her vacation, she misses her little monkeys at school. Claremore Public Schools has two more Certified Great Expectations Instructors in the house!!! Congratulations to Mrs. Bacon and Mrs. Crabtree, who recently completed their training. CPS has 5 GE Model Schools and 5 GE Certified Instructors on staff. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

In our #ZebraTravelDiaries, the Willards are all a part of the Zebra family. Mrs. Willard is the principal at Roosa, where Alivia attends school, and Coach Willard is the wrestling coach and a teacher at Claremore High school. This summer, they traveled to California and visited CalTech's Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL), an extension of NASA. Their tour was led by Alivia's Uncle Aaron, who is one of the engineers on the rover Perseverance team. The rover landed on Mars in 2020. Our Waivers have been EXTENDED! We are excited to announce we will have 4 curbside pick up opportunities this summer beginning this Wednesday July 13 Each child between the ages of 1yr old and 18yrs old will receive 3 Breakfasts and 3 Lunches at no charge. FIELD TRIPS ARE BACK It may not be to Jurassic World but our Kindergarten did visit the Tulsa Zoo and ran into a few dinosaurs at the Zoorasic World exhibit! They traveled through the prehistoric jungle with 25 life-sized dinosaurs! The exhibit runs through September 5th.
