Voting is a meaningful way to show our commitment to these values and our community. By casting a vote, we demonstrate to the next generation that every voice matters and that each of us has a role in shaping our future. Let’s inspire our students by exercising our rights with pride and purpose. Voting is not only our right—it is our power. And an educated vote is the most powerful vote. 📚 Celebrating Reading with CHS NHS & Chick-fil-A! 📚 A big thank you to Claremore High School NHS and Chick-fil-A for partnering to bring new books to our elementary students! Our NHS students had a blast visiting classrooms, sharing their love for reading, and handing out books to our younger Zebras. 📖✨ Moments like these are so powerful—our elementary students look up to their high school mentors, making this a perfect opportunity to inspire a love of reading. Our students love their library time, and here’s another reason why! Claremont recently had our first two winners in the library! Scattered throughout the library are ‘You Are a Winner’ books. Plenty are in all library areas, but the catch is that students don't know they have picked a winner until you scan it at checkout. Students who check out these books receive a prize! Once the book is returned, another winning book is selected, ready for the next lucky student to find. Keep reading for at least 20 minutes a day. Students who read always win even f it's not a prize. #cpszebrapride
🗳️ Today, our Roosa Elementary students are stepping into the voting booth! 🗳️
As part of our commitment to teaching the importance of civic engagement, our young citizens are casting their votes in the Roosa Election, choosing between Sweet Treats and Salty Treats. After voting, each student proudly receives a "Future Voter" sticker, symbolizing their role in shaping our community.
While the stakes may not be as high as today's national election, this activity serves as a meaningful introduction to the democratic process. By participating, our students learn that every voice matters and that they have the power to make a difference.

🌟 Catalayah Celebrates Character Every Day! 🌟
At our school, every student can be recognized with a "Character Counts" certificate for showing positive character traits! Any adult in the building can award one when they notice a student making a difference by following life principles that guide us to become better people. When a student receives a certificate, their teacher celebrates them immediately, and then the recognition continues in the morning at Rise and Shine! The students' names are called, they stand tall, and the school gives them two power claps in support! 🎉 One lucky student is randomly chosen each day, earning a special prize donated by our wonderful local businesses. Their photo is proudly posted on our “Character Counts” wall alongside every certificate earned throughout the year – a space students love visiting to find their names! This year, we've ensured character counts everywhere, adding “Cafeteria Character Counts” and recognizing students on the bus, too! 🚌🍎

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS - In partnership with Claremore Economic Development, the Rogers County Chapter of the Tulsa Home Builders is excited to invite our high school students to Build My Future, an interactive construction careers exposure event at Claremore Expo on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
Build My Future is designed to provide high school students with hands-on experiences and insights into the wide range of careers available in the construction industry. Through live demonstrations, equipment simulators, and expert presentations, students will explore career pathways that may shape their futures in the skilled trades.
