She graduated from East Central University with a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. This is her first year teaching as a Zebra, but has been teaching for 23 years! This week, we will introduce you to our 2024 Homecoming Representatives. 🦓❤👑 🦓Elea Robinson Representing: Dead Poets Society Other student activities involved in: Speech and debate, Young Democrats, World Language Club What are your future plans? “I plan on going to college out of state and get a degree in education so I can teach the theatre arts.” What is your favorite part about being a Zebra? “The ability to involve myself in so many things that have helped me connect with my peers.” 🦓 Andrew Barnett Representing: Yearbook Other student activities involved in: Band What are your future plans? “To study youth ministry.” What is your favorite part about being a Zebra? “The amazing teachers and staff, specifically Ms. Warden and Ms. Lahr.” 🦓 Charli Williams Representing: Book Club Other student activities involved in: Athletic Training, Math Club, NHS What are your future plans? “To attend Wichita State and pursue a major in elementary education and a minor in ASL and Spanish.” What is your favorite part about being a Zebra? “My favorite part about being a zebra is helping my peers and younger students with their education paths and always being a shoulder to lean on. Cooking with Classen 🍪 During the first week back to school at Westside Elementary, Mrs. Classen's class read "The Kissing Hand," a book about Chester the Raccoon, who is missing his parents at the beginning of the school year. The book encourages students to be courageous and take on new challenges. When her class finished this project, they all got to make sugar cookie hands with chocolate kisses in the middle. An inspiring lesson with a sweet treat!🦓🍪 #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
