🤼♂️ ALL-STATE WRESTLING | FINISHING STRONG 🦓
Last night, Claremore was well represented at the Oklahoma All-State Wrestling Duals, scoring 12 out of 26 of the East Team's points.
Cooper Zickefoose and Mason Gillespie both took to the mat for the final time as Zebras, and both walked off with dominant pins. Cooper capped off an impressive career with the poise and power he’s known for, and Mason delivered a strong finish with intensity and energy to secure a win with a pin.
👏 Shout-out to Coach Chad Willard, named Regional Coach of the Year, in recognition of his leadership and the continued success of the Zebra Wrestling program.

Janna, Ryan, Brandy, and five of our amazing managers joined child nutrition professionals from across the state for a day filled with learning, laughter, and team building.
We were inspired by keynote speaker Jarrett Krosoczka—author of the Lunch Lady graphic novels and founder of School Lunch Hero Day—as we embraced this year’s theme: Defenders of Child Nutrition! 🦸♂️🥦
We’re coming back energized and ready to serve our students better than ever! 🦓💛

From the lively streets of New Orleans to the sunny shores of Gulf Shores, and on to the rocket city of Huntsville, recent CHS graduate Charli Williams, 4th grader Rori Williams, and 5th grader Serenity Widener made the most of their summer road trip! 🚗☀️
One of the coolest highlights? Spotting Claremore’s own Stuart Roosa, a CHS alum and Apollo 14 astronaut, at the Pensacola Naval Aviation Museum! 🌙📸

The Ratcliff family, Ella (CHS Senior), Rivers (WRJH 7th), Andrea (Catalayah Art Teacher) & Dr. Chris Ratcliff (RSU Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics), recently visited Costa Rica.
They were able to hike in a real rainforest, seeing lots of tropical animals, including being inches away from a baby sloth (OMG, Mrs. Ratcliff was dying of cuteness-literally happy tears), and 3 out of 4 of the family tried eating termites for “protein”…the one who teaches art gave a hard pass.
They also got their first experience snorkeling. They swam & touched the shells of huge, wild sea turtles, caught a yellowfin tuna, and earned a few sunburns as souvenirs. (Sunscreen, Zebras. Don’t forget it!) ☀️🐠
