He graduated from Oklahoma Christian University with a Bachelors in Arts. This is Mr Micheals first year as a Zebra and his 5th year teaching! At Catalayah Elementary, Mrs. T's GT class completed a Depth & Complexity frame based on students’ current knowledge of the Olympics and an introductory video; students were challenged to construct the Eiffel Tower from Keva planks. Great job, Zebras!📚🦓🗼 #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

At Claremont Elementary, Ms. Camber read the book Chrysanthemum, which talks about how friends feel when their feelings get hurt. They discussed the importance of showing kindness to avoid hurting others and 'wrinkling' their hearts. 🦓❤ The students colored a band-aid and promised to show kindness every day. At Catalayah Elementary, Mrs. Douthitt‘s class has been writing letters and sight words in salt boxes, practicing their alphabet, and writing their names. They also read the book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and made their trees! 🌴📚🦓 #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Congratulations to CHS Senior, Emma Robinson won the Claremore Walnut Park Cross Country Meet! She ran a new personal record of 18:41, bringing her one second closer to the school record. Way to go, Emma and keep it up!💪🏽🏆🦓 #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

At the junior high, Mrs. Simmonds' WIN class made Oobleck, a non-Newtonian fluid inspired by a Dr. Seuss book! Students loved the hands-on learning and getting to see a story come to life!🔬 #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Our Claremore FFA students wrapped up the Rogers County Fair with an impressive haul of ribbons!🥇🐑 Sheep, goats, swine, cattle, and rabbits were among the livestock showcased at the event. Congratulations to all the winners—your hard work and preparation paid off!! Now, the focus shifts to the current Tulsa State Fair, where more success awaits! At Catalayah Elementary, Mrs. Roller's 1st-grade class ended their lesson on labeling by learning all about apples. They read about Johnny Appleseed, discovered the parts of an apple, and then made and labeled their own! 🍎 #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Claremore High School Band's "Sail Away" Show Wins Championship Trophy at Oologah Stallion Battalion Marching Band Competition After a five-year wait, the band's triumphant return with the championship trophy marks a momentous achievement for the talented group of performers. Competing against 16 other bands, Claremore High School Band's exemplary performance shone through, earning them the well-deserved top honor. The color guard also brought home a third-place trophy. The captivating show, titled "Sail Away," showcased the band's exceptional musical prowess, featuring renditions of "All is Found" from Frozen II, "Come Sail Away" by Styx, and "Sailing" by Christopher Cross. The band's performance left the audience in awe and secured their well-deserved victory. The CHS band will perform their show at half-time at the next home football game so come out to see our CHAMPIONS in person!
