Kicking off our 2024 Countdown to Graduation is the Browns! With just 19 short days until we celebrate the Class of 2024's commencement, meet Michelle and Maddie!🦓❤🎓 Mrs. Michelle Brown is the WRJH Registrar and has been a staff member at CPS for 14 years. She graduated from Claremore High School Class of 1994. She is grateful for “Maddie's experiences at CPS that extend from Roosa to WRJH to CHS. Each year she has made lasting memories with friends, teachers, coaches, and administrators. Those memories are what makes her a Zebra.” She is appreciative of the “many teachers for the significant impacts they’ve made throughout Maddie’s education. These teachers helped instill important values that she will benefit from throughout her life.” A Zebra since Kindergarten, Maddie has attended Roosa, WRJH, and CHS. She is an active member of the Christian Club, Red Army, Student Council, the Career Development program, and is a CHS Baseball team manager. What Maddie will cherish most from her time at CPS will be “The memories that I have created here, and all the amazing friends I’ve made. There’s nothing better than the student section at football games where everyone is one big happy family.” A lasting memory she “will always remember is getting out of class to go talk to my mom - just because I missed her throughout the day.” It has been a memorable 13 years for Maddie as a Zebra! #cpszebrapride

Ms. Dooley's class is full of scientists in the making!👩‍🔬 The future scientists were tasked with documenting the conditions outside before, during and after the eclipse to compare, contrast and discuss what they observed and how it affected their surroundings. This activity reinforces skills that are vital in understanding scientific concepts - ensuring they last a lifetime! 🦓☀ #cpszebrapride

Ms. Jarrett's class had the sweetest assignment recently! The kids got paired up randomly and had to write about what makes their partner special. It was so lovely to watch them giving compliments to someone they might not have picked otherwise! ❤️ #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Claremont's Principal, Ms. Fay, fulfills many important roles throughout the school! Recently, she had the opportunity to get back into the classroom and help with a 95% Phonics lesson for Mrs. Stanart's 2nd-grade class! The students were shocked and excited to have their principal in their room for this lesson. Our admin loves any opportunity where they get to help our little Zebras and push them to success! 🦓❤ #cpszebrapride
