Claremore High School offers many Career Tech programs and has approximately 250 students involved, between CHS agricultural education, family and consumer sciences, and cooperative programs at Northeast Technology Center.
These programs provide students with outlets and opportunities to explore their passions and prepare for their futures. Among the many individuals preparing for life after graduation here is Gabriella Stinson, a CHS student pursuing a certification in cosmetology.
Gabriella Stinson is a CHS student involved in the NTC cosmetology program, where she's developing her skills and knowledge. Fueled by a childhood passion for hairstyling and nail art, Gabriella's journey is marked by her love for learning and serving clients while still in school. She has learned about safety, sanitation, and identifying disorders while developing communication and cosmetology skills. Gabriella's advice for prospective students is the importance of balancing classroom studies with practical experience and fostering positive relationships. As she continues to pursue her goals, Gabriella embodies Claremore Public Schools' commitment to preparing students for success in the professional world after high school.❤📚💇🏻♀️

🎉✨ Transforming classic fun into learning: It's not UNO, it's U-KNOW in Mrs. Wiley's class! 📚🃏 Our innovative twist on the beloved game now has students matching text structures instead of just colors and numbers. This engaging method makes learning about organizing and presenting information exciting and reinforces the educational concept that learning can be as fun as playing your favorite game. It's UNO meets a reading comprehension lesson, proving that the best lessons are the ones where you don't realize you're learning because you're having too much fun!

🌟👩🏫 What National Park have you visited?

Meanwhile, our 3rd graders showcased their budding talents with concise, 5-slide summaries. These projects have enhanced their digital literacy, public speaking, and teamwork skills—tools essential for future academic and professional success! 📚💻#CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Three exceptional students from Claremore FFA embarked on a transformative journey at the Stand & Deliver Workshop. This workshop, designed to hone their public speaking skills, is crucial for their personal and professional development, preparing them for a future where clear and confident communication is key. In today's fast-paced world, the ability to articulate agricultural topics with poise is not just an asset but a necessity for leaders. Throughout the session, these students were challenged to step beyond their comfort zones through a series of icebreakers, engaging conversations with fellow FFA members, and reflective exercises in their booklets, focusing on their growth and learning. Such experiences are invaluable, equipping them with the tools to lead, inspire, and make impactful contributions in their future careers. Exceptional work, demonstrating the importance of public speaking in laying the foundation for success in life. 🙌🏽
