At Monday's Board of Education meeting, members of the board had to privilege to do one of the duties they enjoy most - recognize the accomplishment of CPS students.
Swimmers Sylvia Admire and Brenlyn Vickery were recognized for their 6A State Swim Meet performance. Sylvia is the 100 & 200 freestyle STATE CHAMPION.
Kai Schultz was recognized for his wrestling STATE RUNNER-UP victory, academic performance with a GPA over 4.0, and 100 win club status.
And although the wins are nice, the grit they show, resolve to continue, commitment to excellence, desire to win and motivation to improve they have developed on their way to the "win" that makes us most proud of our student-athletes.
